Welcome to the AMAZING Wedding of Kab & Freya at Hornington Manor, near York in Yorkshire.

If Music be the food of LOVE, play on.................

I honestly don't know where to start with this blog, and feel certain that I shall run out of superlatives before I run out of WOW moments.

There was stunningly beautiful music, a glorious venue, an amazing bride, a handsome groom, yummy food, welcoming families & friends, an explosion of vibrant flowers, awesome support crew, hilarious speeches............ but best of all.....................There was LOVE   (but don't take my word for it)

As I walked through the door at the glorious Hornington Manor, I was met by Freya's Mother and a really relaxed atmosphere. Freya, Kab and their close friends and family had the run of Hornington Manor for the whole weekend. Everyone was staying together, either in the Manor House or the Annexe, which meant the the boys had one wing and the girls took the other to make sure that there was no chance of accidentally bumping into each other. Hair & Make-up was well underway and the boys were having a game of pool in the games room. The amazing florist, the allotment bride, was working away and the gazebo seemed to be transformed into a gorgeous floral canopy in the blink of an eye. The country garden feel of the bouquets and the flowers for Freya's hair were beautiful. There were some beautiful personal touches, handmade bunting, Grandmummy's garam masala favours, Mum's alternate guest book fabric squares, which will be transformed into a patchwork quilt but not least, Freya's stunning gown, from Anita Masarella design, which had some of the lace from her Mother's Wedding dress.

It was off to Central Methodist church in Brighouse for a gorgeous service from the Reverend Mark. This was especially nice for me as this is my hometown, so no following the sat nav. It was a really warm and joyous service, with lots of personal touches. There were beautiful readings from family and friends, a lovely vocal solo from a friend and a heavenly choir, made all the more personal as it was the choir that Freya sings with. I was stopped in my tracks and had to remember why I was there. The vintage car looks fantastic from cupid carriages.

It was then back to the beautiful Hornington Manor. It's nestled away with beautiful open views and we were lucky enough to have some lambs in the fields whilst we were there. After a lovely drinks reception and some photographs on the lawn, all the guests sat down to a fantastic meal prepared and seamlessly served by the Fryton catering company. We were treated to heartfelt & hilarious moments in the speeches.

It was then time for the cake cut, the first dance and some jaw dropping dance moves with live music from the fantastic Black Sheikhs. There was a quiet corner with the opportunity to have some beautiful Henna painted on your hands, ready for the following days celebrations.

Just before I left for the day, we snuck outside for some fantastic twighlight shots,  (always some of my favourite of the day). Special thanks to one of the groomsmen for leaving his pint to be my unofficial lighting assistant.

A HUGE thank you to Hayley, Simon and all the staff at Hornington Manor who were an amazing team and meant everything ran seamlessly all day. I can't wait to come back.

As Weddings go........ It was just what the Doctor ordered! (sorry)
